North Bridger Bison Ranch
Here in Montana, ranch life is defined by big skies, hard work, and a deep connection to the land. Matt and Sarah Skoglund founded North Bridger Bison Ranch in 2018 after purchasing 791 acres. Today, the ranch covers more than 2,500 acres and sells bison meat directly to customers across the country.
But this ranch is about more than meat. It is about stewardship, Montana heritage, and one of the American West’s most iconic animals. NBB is Montana’s only Audubon-certified bison ranch, and all of its land will soon be under conservation easement though Gallatin Valley Land Trust, protecting the land in perpetuity. In Episode #1, we visit with Matt Skoglund to learn what makes bison unique and how they fit into Montana’s landscape.
Check out NBB’s website to order bison meat, learn about their amazing ranch dinners, sign up for their mailing list and to get Matt’s inspiring updates on life at North Bridger Bison Ranch. Make sure to let Matt know that you learned about them from Life Montana Style!
